We briefly used Travel Leaders (formally Carlton Wagonlit) as our company travel agents. I cannot begin to tell you what a nightmare the process was. From setting up executive profiles to booking flight, I had problems all along the way. And not only with their system, but just as much with their representatives. We used the office in Rancho Bernardo, and our agent was rude, ditzy, incompetent, and argumentative. There was one day, when both myself and a co-worker were waiting and waiting for our flight confirmations to come through, when finally this representative wrote to apologize and said she was oohhhing and awwwing over a newborn baby that was brought into the office. Meanwhile, EVP's and CEO of our company are sitting here waiting for their flight info so they can go home for the day. I am not sure what was more shocking, that she would oh and aw over a baby when she has deadlines to meet, or that she was dumb enough to put it in writing and send it to her customer? Also, to mention is that for the horrible customer service that you receive, they are actually really expensive. If called in to book a flight, there was a $42 fee added to the invoice. If you are considering Travel Leaders for you corporate travel company, I would seriously think twice. Especially, if you are in the north county area and would have to use the same agents as we did. |
